What are PDO Threads?
PDO stands for Poluydioxanone, a clinically proven bio-compatible and bio-absorbable material, proven and tested as widely used within medicine.
How Does PRP Work?
PDO threads are an effective aesthetic technique that lifts and tighten sagging skin tissues by inducing collagen production. It involves the insertion of fine, degradable polydioxanone (PDO) threads very similar to that used in medical suturing, into the subcutaneous layer of the skin using small needles.
These threads remain implanted in the skin causing micro-injuries that stimulate collagen synthesis and tissue contraction. After six months, the threads will be absorbed into the body leaving new collagen in their place.
How Long do the Results Last?
Typically results will last upto 18 months however this is dependent on numerous factors such as age, quality of the skin and number of threads used.
When Will You See Results from Four PDO Treatment?
Often there will be an immediate improvement in the treated areas however this will continue to improve over the next 2-6 months as new collagen is produced between the threads, providing you with an extra lift and tightening of the skin. After around 6 months the PDO threads will then have dissolved however your lift will be maintained.

The area’s most in demand and also most effective for you are:
- Lifting of the Brow

- Marionette Lines (lines from corners of the mouth to the jawline)
